The Trump administration has removed the commandant of the US Coast Guard, Admiral Linda Fagan.

According to an official with the Department of Homeland Security, the reasons for her removal include her failing to address border security threats and her excessive focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion policies.

Trump has repeatedly criticized the U.S. military for being too “woke.”
