It's fast and easy, and oh so good!

Ingredients

  • 2 sticks unsalted butter cut into small chunks
  • 1 individual package graham crackers
  • c sugar
  • tsp vanilla
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • c semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • ½ c chopped almonds or pecans

Instructions

Line baking sheet with parchment paper. Lay out graham crackers onto parchment paper. In a saucepan over medium-low heat combine sugar, vanilla, butter chunks, and salt. Whisk until butter has melted and mixture is brown in color (15 minutes). Pour hot melted mixture evenly on top of graham crackers, then sprinkle over a layer of chocolate chips. As chocolate chips soften, spread them into a thin layer, then sprinkle on chopped nuts. Allow to cool for several hours or in fridge, then break into pieces.
