NOVA Infrastructure, a middle-market-focused infrastructure investment firm, today announced additions and updates to its investment team. This includes the hiring of Matt Altman as Vice President and the promotions of Noah Frick and Michael Troy to Vice President and Jeremy Feinstein to Senior Associate.
NOVA Appoints Vice President to Investment Team

Matt Altman joins NOVA with more than 10 years of infrastructure and energy experience in project development, investment banking and credit, and private equity investing. In his role at NOVA Matt will help execute new and follow-on investments and manage portfolio companies in the environmental services, transportation, energy / energy transition, and digital sectors. Previously, Matt was a Senior Associate at Basalt Infrastructure Partners and an Associate at Apollo Global Management focusing on private and public investments across power and infrastructure. Earlier in his career, he was an investment banker at BMO Capital Markets and a credit analyst at Fitch Ratings.
NOVA’s Promotions
Noah Frick joined NOVA in 2022 as an Associate and has proven instrumental to building and managing the NOVA funds’ portfolios. During his time at the firm, he’s made notable contributions to NOVA’s RNG business Nopetro Renewables and FBO platform Ascension as well as its datacenter platform DartPoints. Prior to joining NOVA, Frick worked at Mobility Capital and McKinsey & Co. and also served as an Intelligence Officer in the U.S. Army as a member of the 75th Ranger Regiment, Special Operations Command. He earned an MBA from Stanford Business School.
Michael Troy joined NOVA as a Summer Associate and has risen through the ranks over his seven years at the firm. During this time, NOVA and its partners have committed more than $1 billion of investments, with Troy contributing to the management of NOVA portfolio companies, specifically the port logistics platform Harbor Logistics, the fixed wireless broadband business Skywire Networks, and the community solar and battery storage platform UGE. Previously, Troy was an Analyst at both Lincoln International and AIG. He earned an MBA from UCLA’s Anderson School of Management.
Jeremy Feinstein joined NOVA in 2024 with more than six years of experience in investment banking and corporate finance and supports the management of NOVA portfolio companies Harbor Logistics and Nopetro Renewables. Previously, Feinstein was an Associate in the Global Industrials Group at Deutsche Bank and an Analyst in the Industrials Group at Santander.
